Plush Commissions

Terms and Conditions

In order to commission me (the artist), you (the client) must accept the following terms of service.Clients must be 18 years or older to commission the artist, and commission requests/references must be SFW.Plush are made to be handled gently or for display purposes, and are not suitable for children or pets.

Turn-around Times

An estimated time frame will be given if the artist accepts the commission request. Unforeseen circumstances may delay progress/delivery. If no progress has been made for more than 60 days, the order may be cancelled with a full refund given upon client request.If the client has a specific timeframe that must be met, please include it in the commission request. A rush order fee will be added if the artist accepts.

Pricing/Payment

Payment is required upfront by default. A stated portion will be withheld as a non-refundable deposit unless the artist needs to cancel an order for any reason, or if a refund is requested before any work has started.Quotes will only be given if a commission request is accepted by the artist. Prices are firm, and payment plans may only be discussed for highly priced orders. Work on a plush will only begin after the final payment has been received by the artist.California residents must pay sales tax in addition to the quoted price.
Shipping fees are a separate charge and will not be taxed.

Artist/Client Rights

The artist reserves the right to share imagery/information about WIPs and completed projects publicly. The client may request that the project be kept private until a certain point, but this may result in the order being denied depending on circumstances.Patterns may be reused as the base for future commissions or shop listings, but any client’s original characters will never be recreated for others to purchase. Grade A Hatch embroidery files (.EMB) will not be given under any circumstance. The artist reserves the right to sell exported formats (ex: .PES .XXX .DST) where appropriate.The client is free to share imagery/information of their completed plush with credit given to the artist. Images may not be used for technology such as NFTs or AI training. Plush may only be resold for a lower cost than what was originally paid. Plush may not be used as a prototype for mass manufacturing.

Edits and Revisions

Please notify of any desired edits as early as possible. Planning phases are the likeliest time to accommodate large revisions. Additional fees may be incurred depending on the edit, and edits are more likely to be denied as time progresses.

Communication

Progress updates will be sent upon request and whenever deemed appropriate by the artist. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response, additional time may be required for progress photos if the artist is away on travel.If the client does not respond to communication attempts within 30 days, the order will be cancelled with the deposit fee and a proportional progress cost withheld from refund. Any existing product will be resold to other potential clients.

Cancellations

The artist may choose to cancel an order for any reason, a refund proportional to progress made will be sent immediately. Physical/Digital WIP products may still be delivered if deemed appropriate.If the client is found to be participatory in harassment, bigotry, crime, etc., the order will be cancelled with deposit and proportional progress fees withheld from refund. Any existing product will be resold to other potential clients.

Shipping/Damages

Once shipped, the artist is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.Damaged plush may be brought to the attention of the artist with images of the plush included. A repair/care guide may be provided to the client if possible. Otherwise, or if the damage is significant, the artist and client must both agree on shipping the plush back to the artist for a paid repair service. The client is responsible for shipping and fees.

Refunds/Returns

Returns for plush based on original characters are not possible. Clients must notify the artist within 7 days upon delivery if they wish to return other kinds of plush. If accepted, the client is responsible for shipping and will receive a refund, deposit withheld.If there is a significant error in a completed plush due to the artist’s actions, a partial refund may be granted if an edit or fix is not accepted by either the artist or the client.
